Pro-Israel groups and the Australian far-right are using Jewish grief to attack migrant communities and religious minorities. Antisemitism is being invoked to stifle criticism of Israel, criminalise protest, and undermine our public and cultural institutions. And Benjamin Netanyahu has committed USD $730 million to expanding Israel’s international propaganda effort.
The Council has identified three projects to fund by the end of the financial year and execute as soon as possible including expanding our national organising program, commissioning new research within the Jewish community, and developing our internal lobbying capacity.
